Art Education

After starting to follow a blog about Art Education on my google reader, I began to wonder if any of these art projects can be incorporated into an elementary classroom. I have always been very interested in art and taken art classes for fun on the weekends during my K-12, so reading about different art projects that different art teachers have created have made me wonder if any can be integrated into my own classroom someday. The art teacher had an entire blog about murals. I really like this idea because it includes all students working on one piece of art. All students will be able to say they created something, and it can be hung in the classroom and used in different lessons. Murals can be integrated into an elementary classroom during different science units and possibly for different social studies units.
